What age are TL drivers?
Just got an 05 - Anthracite metallic.
My 99 TL has 132,000 miles. (Bought in 88)
Age now:58
Looked at other cars but got another TL. Can't compare.
The sound system is superb and XM radio is fantastic.

24..05 Silver, No Navi.
Since I have to have a 4 door for work, this is the only car that I have found that I enjoy driving and like being seen driving it. I will give it an 8 out of 10 (FWD/Low torque...but I have been driving a vette so it feels a whole lot different)
My other car is a 1998 Audi A6 143,000k
Wrecked my 1996 Grand Sport Corvette
Traded in my 2000 Honda Prelude

age and rating
56---other current cars: Volvo V70 GLT, VW Passat GLX...had a VW Passat W8 4motion. the W8 (no longer sold) was very, very fast and the 4motion all wheel drive made for a great driving experience. The TL doesn't have the 'locked-on-the-road' feeling of the all-wheel drive car, but this time around was looking for reliable track record and overall features. Could have spent another $10K for a Volvo S60 R (300hp, all wheel drive), but the overall features of the TL won me over...and Volvos are expensive to maintain.
Considered an RL, but never buy a car the 1st year it's out...have done that before and have always felt that the company should pay me for doing final beta testing.
Give it an 8.5...if it were all wheel drive, it would be a 10+.

La Ssm Tl
40, SSM 5A TL w/Navi to replace Camry (reliable, not fast even with V-6, soft and boring) and 1st gen. 1988 Integra LS 5-speed (now sitting in driveway costing me insurance $$). TL is a very well set up driver's car.

I am 42. Just bought an 05 Nighthawk Black 5AT Navi TL. So far I love it, but have had to share driving with wifey. Fun factor so far of 8, but will know more after road trip to soccer tournament this weekend.
Since '91 all I have owned are Toyotas. 91 Tacoma, 98 4 Runner, 2003 Sequoia 4WD and finally another 2003 Tacoma 4 Door 4WD with some sweet chrome rims. However, I commute an hour and finally with damn oil prices I had to sell the Sequoia and go with something more economical. I had been eyeballing the new TL models and once we test drove the TL, the race was on to sell our Sequoia to a private buyer. I have never had a black vehicle or a Honda, so this is new to me !!!!!!!

Aaaarrrggghhhh!
31 yrs. old. - '05 NBP 6-sp w/o NAVI - My other car is an '00 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (for Home Depot trips and playing in the snow)..wife drives an '02 Camry SE. If Acura came out with a TL Type-S with AWD, 300hp+ and still offered the 6-sp, I would trade in a second. Until then, I'll give her an 8.5.

So if you have the new 2004 TL please drop a line saying your age, oh and just for fun a rating scale of 1 to 10 for your new car. Thanks!

19 baby!
I'm 19, coming on 20 and I love my TL-S. I've just started racing it SCCA, and driving it during the week. All I do complain about it the mere 5 speed step-tron gearbox.....where's the manual clutch man!? I miss double clutching.

In the past 2 years i changed ALOT OF CARS....In Aug. i just turned 18 and my first car was a 96 V6 Camry with 2 12'' SoloBaric Kicker subs with a 880 watt soundstream tarantula amp. Later i baught a 2003 Acura CL-s and i LOVED IT but about a week later i returned it cuz the dealership sold me a salvage car with a clean title. Later i baught me the NEW piece of shit Ford Mustangs which ended up BURNING down on me and about 3 weeks ago i got me a 05 Acura TL fullyloaded with NAVI, i ended up smoking the lights in the back and ordered LEDs for it i have soooo much more ideas comming up for this car and I LOVE IT.
