how can i remove the orange headlight turn signals to make it clear?? can i open the headlight and just remove the orange piece or is it all one piece??

Three screws in the wheel-well and two up top by trunk trim to "pull out" or "drop" the bumper to get the screws loose under the tail light. You do not have to remove the entire bumper.

I have a base tl with all red

I dont want to black out, but rather go for a deeper, only slightly darker candy red

In no way blacked out or smoked

Ack, You must have missed it, but he said he's got a base TL that's red, I assume RRP. I think he was just using the VW as an example. I'm guessing he wants the tails to be all red and blend right in with the RRP paint.

i have an 07 base model TL...graphite....what kinda lights would any of you suggest for that color? something thats blacked out/smoked?

Is this suppose to mean something? I am not sure what you mean but I am taking it as a insult? Custom tail lights are 100% nicer, better looking than DEPOs. I am sure people are aware of that since they buy those so call cheap DEPOs, send them to me and pay for my service to create a new style for them. Also, please find me a DEPO set that has any style besides Base 07-08 or TYPE-S. There are clear ones out with a so called flat black looking bezel but they are made in TAIWAN and I don't particularly care for them as well as the eagle eyes which I also don't care for and hate. Do as you please because its your car.

I just don't know how they'd look on my ABP. Does anyone have abyss blue pearl with lights at all like those? I'd be interested in buying some new tails. The first pic is super shiny but I THINK its NBP?

Yea, after looking at the first pic again I realized it wasn't just the sun and its actually royal blue. Looks good. ABP is even darker blue so I think the stealthy look would look pretty good.

So Ack, would I need to buy type S lights or something? I don't know much about lights so what would I need to do to get some nice tails on an 05.

does anyone with this style get bothered from the cops? i just got pulled over for my tail lights being too dark....

To be honest I don't think cops would bother you, but passing inspection you will need to put your stock ones back on. Even the ones that USR sells are not DOT approved, because there is no "red" on them. You can get away with it like Bzyrice and other member by putting a red reflector somewhere in the rear of your car. I used to have the EBAY tints for my tail lights and I got bothered all the time. I have had custom ones on my car for two years and have done many sets without a complaint about cops.
