Okayy so I just got my acura tl tinted and i see a lot of little/medium sized bubbles which are only noticeable from the outside. But I have heard that these bubbles are common during the first few days after the tint, soo here are some pics.

Bad tint job? Or is this common?

Also, notice the corner of the window in the last pic... it worries me

Let it bake in the sun for a few days and the bubbles will start to disappear. If after a few days they do not, take it back and they can squeeze the air out on some of them.

Those bubbles look kind of big, but I would still give it about a week to see if they dry up and go away. I had some bubbles, too, but they weren't quite that big.

If you had the work performed at a reputable tinter (not a 99 dollar tint place), and the bubbles don't go away in a week, they shouldn't have a problem retinting and fixing it.

If they look like a "magnifying glass" is normal, just give it a couple more days. ...

I had similar concerns, but I was told to wait a week. Sure enough they all went away.

lol, this is going to be the longest week of my life. Hopefully they go away by then. If not, the guy told me to just bring it back and he'll re-tint for free, but assured me i wouldnt have too.

You dont wont it to dry to much if the bubbles dont go away. If you wait to long and they try n pull the tint off it might mess up the defroster lines. If you dont see the difference within a few days i would take it back.

I've had several cars tinted and none have bubbles that large. Hopefully they go away in a few days.

Small bubbles go away somewhat....but that window corner NOT SO MUCH. That part looks like an issue. Let us know

Depends on the tint you put on. I put on what is called "Infinity" tint an it had similar bubbles which, now after about a week and a half, most if not all have cleared up. Just waiting for the front windshield tint now to cure all the way so it isn't so wavy.

General rule here is to wait at least a week and leave the car in the sun if possible. My tint professional warned me that I needed to wait at least 2 weeks and not wash the interior windows for at least 45 days because of the type of tint I chose.

If those bubbles don't clear on their own and if the shop is reputable they should repair it free of charge.

yea I had the same thing, called the place told me to just leave it out in the sun for the next couple of days/a week. and they went away and looks really good now

Well they are still there... smaller but still there... im soo tempted to try to press them from the inside lol.
