Do you have any front pics from a distance? I have NBP as well.

that's not true. if you look at my pics, you'll see that the Real Chrome (RC) is fully reflective. it's actually got the same reflection level as the front grill acura emblem.

I choose the RC because I wanted it to look as OEM as possible, and to fit better with the front emblem. it came out perfect.

I also agree these emblems are much better than a paint job. it feels more like a true emblem like the ones on the back of the car. has more substance to it.

yea, actually I do. I'll post a few a little later on to give you a better view. the RC is really one of the best for NBP. like I mentioned earlier, if you're looking for a more consitent and fluid feel, the RC works best since it matches dead on with the chrome Acura emblem on the front grill.

if you're looking for something more colorful or different, then some of the other options are a better choice.

here's a few more pics from a distance....it's hard to really capture the reflective quality of the RC emblem since it's lower to the ground of the car, it's always shaded by the shadow of the car.

Sorry. I was just going by the example you posted. It looked more like stainless steal. But I see on your ride that is looks more like chrome. Kinda hard to tell. Like you said it's shaded. But looks great on your TL

Msala you have "The Best" front end I have seen! Bar none! I did, however like the version of letters before the cf/black/red. But it could be just because it's on the web. You know, jpg kinda suck! Color wise....
Love "the look". Too bad, I would be getting tic. after tic. here in Mn.
Good thread though......

I am looking for a decal from Veneerstore that matches the grill (the brushed silver part, not the emblem) on my AM TL. Which version do you think might look better - the real chrome, or maybe the aluminum?

Depends on how bling bling you want to be. I think they both would look good. Between the SA and the SBA, I'd go with SBA myself. Kinda hard to really tell how it is unless you see it in person.

I don't want 'bling' per say...just a classy look. As you said either one would look nice...once the wind and cold dies down, I'll walk out an look to see what would best match the grill surround.

The A-Spec above is an OEM bumper with an A-Spec lip on it. He filled in the Acura indent, re-painted, and put a decal over it.

I am about to order the Aluminum decal from veneerzstore but if I want to return it, I can't seem to find any info on their return policy. Seems like half the links at the top of their website are not valid anymore. Is this company still in business/a reputable company? Has anyone bought from or returned stuff to them recently?

Lou, I'm not sure about their return policy. You might give them a call (if there is a phone number on their site) and ask them about returning it if you don't like it.

I can tell you that I ordered from them recently and am VERY happy with my purchase. I got the Carbon Fiber version, which looks very nice. I really wanted a more subdued look, so I probably should have ordered the Silver Carbon Fiber version. But here is a pic for you. If you don't like it, you could probably sell it to another Acurazine member too.

Steven, thanks for the response...I really like the carbon fiber on your Type-S since I like how it goes with the Type-S grill IMO. Well, I called the number on their website, and I got a disconnected message...probably not a good sign...hmmm, don't know what to do now.

I did a google search and can't seem to find any companies that do these raised decals, and I am not sure of the quality of the $7.99 flat eBay stickers...seems sort of tacky maybe.

Lou, I'm VERY surprised...I just got mine a couple of months ago. I'm not sure if you're going to like the flat ones. If I couldn't get these, I wasn't going to get any at all.

Do you have any pics of what decal you purchased?

I think for now I will have to think about it, and see if I want to take a chance that they aren't still in business or something. I know it is only $20 but I really don't want to get scammed...lol.

Sigh... Im gonna need another set of the domed decal because my front bumper is being repainted, hopefully the decals can be reused because I believe Veneerz doesnt sell them anymore, and thats the only company we know that sells domed version.

I also searched around, and this is the only site that still sells the domed decals. $26 doesn't seem so bad, but when I went to add in shipping, it was an additional $15! (yes $15), so total of $41...I think I will attempt to paint it first or get the eBay sticker before I spend $41 on that....grrrrrrrr!

I already bought mines, waiting for it to arrive. the price is not that bad comparing to veneerz, i got my old one for $28.74, so difference is about 12 dollars? The quality is really good, and if you planned to get the veneerz ones, might as well fork out a bit more since veneerz discontinued on this item.

I'll let ya know when it comes, im a bit worried since they're not as popular as veneerz.

That looks pretty nice. It may be a little flashy for me, but it certainly does fit well. For now I think I will spend $8 and get the vinyl decal from eBay. If it looks bad or doesn't last, I only wasted $8.

Selim, I think that looks excellent. I should have gotten that style for my Silver Type S, which would have given it a subdues effect on my cary. But really like the look on yours too.

I agree buddy. I wish we could pull them off and swap, but they are so sticky, I know mine won't come close to coming off at all.
