i need help finding these on ebay!! i can't find them anywhere! Please help!!

I ordered mine last saturday. The next day, i looked on my order status and said that this person is not registered with ebay anymore. I was pissed when i saw that, even though it was only 8 bucks. But to my suprise, it was in my mailbox on tues! Not sure what is going on.....

 

I am guessing that is why I haven't received a message back from the guy when I asked if he had pics of a couple types of stickers. Seems like no one sells those raised ones anymore except for one site that charges $42...for now that is too much for me.

 

yea, 42 dollars is a little much for me to pay for a sticker!

Looks like I was about 1-2 months too late to purchase my TL, since even veneerzstore doesn't have the decal listed on their site anymore! I would have paid the $20-25, oh well......GRRRR! It is one of the cheapest good looking mods around.

 

Hope is not lost! I just did another google search, and found a site that didn't come up with before: http://www.automotiveconcepts.net/st...=&type3_select= . I just order the Aluminum for $20 and free shipping. Since the company is out of PA I paid 6% tax, but for $21.20, I am happy

Yeah dwb, I was pretty excited to find it. A mini-meet sounds good. I see you have the roll up window module...did you install that yourself? I love the idea, but me and wiring do not mix...lol. Within this week I have had my windows tinted, and I will have the kit, and should get the LEDs and decal delivered. Its almost like Xmas!

 

I may order the silver wire for my ASM, I want something subtle...

PSU...good job on finding them for <$30, no way was I gonna pay $40 or more for this

 

Any one have any bad experiences with the front license plate off in NY? More specifically in Western New York?

 

Nice find PSU! My $42 replacement sticker came in couple days ago, gonna put them on soon since I dont need to repaint my bumper anymore.

Steven, it looks perfect. Not to mention it matches with type-s theme color.

 

Received my letters on friday, and put them on today. The pics suck because it is a damp/cloudy day. I'll take a couple more when it is sunny and the car is clean I got the synthetic aluminum to match the grille. It is a very close match to the grille IMO. I am very satisfied with the quality and fit.

Nice touch PSUlou... but why you gotta keep doin these mods like 2 weeks before mine... every time!!!! I'm getting ready to put the front lip on and decided its gonna look like hell with the plate... we're required to display the plate in IL, but I say screw that, I'll keep it in the car and just say my bracket fell off if i get hassled... its well worth a cheap ticket for the better look!!!

what do you think the black letters would look like on the AM??? stick out to much or look decent with the black lower grille?

I think the black looks good also. AnthraciteAspec has the black inserts on his TL: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3235823/2 . He also has a black theme with the badges so that helps tie it together.

dwb - Sorry to hear yours was damaged. Aside from the adhesive promoter stick being dried out, mine was packed well etc. Hopefully the customer service is good and yours will be replaced promptly.

 

Got my letters today, but the adhesive stick was dryed out. I emailed customer service to see if they can ship another one out - we'll see. If that doesn't happen, what is recommended to adhere letters to the bumper?

I was looking at 3M Adhesion Promoter 2262AT, but it's hard to find in automotive stores and auto body supply stores.

 

I guess I am taking my chances since my adhesive stick was dried out as well, but I put the letters on anyway. I just used the alcohol wipes to clean the area, and then stuck the letters on, pressed down and rubbed the surface a good bit. The letters made it through a washing by my dealer today when it was in for service. Hopefully they hold up and I don't end up with an "AURA" one day...LOL

 

Try a hobby shop they should have something.

So I drove up to NY earlier this week in the rain. By the time I got home it was late. The next day I came out and the "A" was coming of the front bumper. DAMN! Just my luck - now I own a 'CURA'

The 'A' decal must not set properly - the other letters look fine.

To respond to your roll up module post...I don't even trust myself to do basic wiring...I'll wind up blowing something else in the car...lol.

 

i just emailed grafixpressions about these....they said if we give them about a week they can create a template for them....and then we can order in any color they have available.

i'm looking forward to the CF versions!
