This weekend, WagonJr decided he likes Stadium Arcadium from the same named album because that's one of the few albums mama has in the Road Pig. So now I face the basic dad problem of, do I just go with the flow and let him (gently) rock out? Yeah, that's the thing... I'm, uh, "highly opinionated". In my head, Chili Peppers ended when Frusciante left after BSSM and after that their music got too soft so it pains me to embrace the new stuff. Even if for all intents and purposes, they are the most successful albums.

But I was thinking that going backwards through the catalog would be a good seque into the really good old stuff. Plus, if I do one a year, he'll probably be old enough to understand when we get to the albums with the TipperStickers.
