We doing one this year? I was thinking Sunday... sometime October/November? Not near Thanksgiving or Christmas (or during exams). Preferrably Austin because it is pretty much the central location of Houston, San Antonio, and Dallas.

Sunday is good for me..im always off on monday...i usually work all weekend...so its hard for me to get off on saturday

 

It'd have to be on a Sunday for me to have any chance. I'd have to come down Saturday after work & leave Sunday night to get back for work.

 

I would recommend we all shoot for the 1st Sunday in December, as Cars & Coffee Austin will hold their monthly meet. Each month is a different theme, like German, British, US and more. December's theme is Far East, so great chance for us to all show up together and make a good impression.

The event is held in Leander in the main town square. Groups and Clubs can park together and these are very well attended and very organized. I was going to wait on posting this but since you're taking suggestions, this would be a good one to consider. More info here

Beginning of November would have a lot better weather. Beginning of December is a problem for students.

Yea, beginning of December could cause a problem for me but I'll just try to study my butt off before hand and afterwards. Plus, this meet would give me motivation to detail my car lol.

Yep...port neches area still...we can follow the leader to the meet again haha...

and someone tried to steal my rims or something the other day...

it was about 2 am in the morning my dogs were barking like crazy in the back yard...so i usually peek out hte window to see whats wrong etc in the back and what they were barking at...so i decided to be cautious this time...i grabbed my gun and open my front door...cause usually my dogs bark where they hear noises at...and it was near the gate where my car is...and there u see it...3 guys roaming around my car...

i instantly pointed my gun...2 ran and one stayed...i told him not to move as i called the cops...my gun wasnt loaded but i never pulled it back to load it in the chamber...so yea...i called the cops...and they came litterally 1 minute later...took him away and i was questioned and ID' for my license etc....

anyways...

it was a guy name Oliver Tran...he was 19...about 5 10 ish maybe?...wearing some baggy thug clothes...

no it was in port neches texas area...im sure those thugs were from the nearby town...port arthur or some sort..which isnt far away like 10 to 15 min

I'll make a thread in here once we finalize all the details, so far we got some donations from strut king to raffle off at the meet.

 

first time i went bowling...the bowling alley is in the middle of everything...i got my center caps stolen...remmeber i told u guys at the meet?.. ahahah

its kinda sad to where i cant even hang out with my family...and just be carefree...people are just out there waiting for opportunities to strike ...

Cause im planning on rolling my fenders soon before i install my spacers help needed ?

 

I did it myself but with my cousin's fender roller. I'm not close to him so I can't help you there lol. Unless you have a fender roller then I can help

 

saw one in the blackmarket for 150...thought about getting it... lol

 

Unless you plan to roll fenders on more than 1 car, you can likely find a shop to roll them for less than that. Not sure on TL's...would you roll the fronts too? On my CL, I only rolled the rear fenders and the shop did it for $50 total and it took less than an hour to complete both rear fenders.

The guy that runs it is in Dallas, so you wouldn't have to mess with shipping back and forth, maybe he'll get you a better deal than what's advertised. I've already rolled mine, but post something in the DFW thread to see if anyone else is interested in rolling theirs. Split the cost and get multiple cars done at the same time.
