Proud Owner of New TL with a question

Hey guys, I've wanted a TL since middle school and finally made it happen! Really happy with my new 2014 TL. New to this community, but I'm looking forward to meeting local Acura owners in DFW!

Currently my car is stock, but I'm not definitely not keeping it that way. My ideal look would pretty much exactly like this

Currently my car looks like:

As far as I can tell, compared to the stock, the modded Acura has a custom grill painted the same black as the body with some sick rims.

Being new to the modding scene, could anyone give some direction, contacts (professionals who can help), and general advice/thoughts?

-Matt

headlights are cleared out. wheels are work vs-xx most likely 20s.

I believe he also has a lip kit all around and lowered

Looks like cleared headlights, factory accessory aspec lip kit, Work 20" wheels, lowered, and the front bumper might be a ron jon or something. grille looks taller so it might be an entirely different bumper, or different year. Not too familiar with the 4G TL as I have a 3G. Post up in the DFW thread like Beezle said! Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new car! Sweet!

Modded car in the first pic is a 2009-11 4th-gen TL, which has a slightly different grill and bumper design than your 2014 (it's okay though... I much prefer the look of yours!).

Congratulations on the new car! What part of DFW are you located? Maybe you should make it out to the DFW get-together that NBP_BALLER just announced... *winkwinknudge*

The TLX is definite a nice car, but the TL line also has some sentimental value to me. Plus I prefer the butt of the TL to the TLX.

Yea I forgot to mention those headlights were cleared which I definitely want to get done. First on my list is clearing the headlights and getting a new grill!

I'll try and meet up when I can! Work has been keeping me busy lately, but its also why I can afford to invest in my ride haha

Lowering it + wheels will make the biggest difference in looks. Spend a lot of time researching different wheels and also what offsets other members are running.

Grille can be wrapped in gloss black vinyl which is cheaper(check out my build thread for how wrapped looks) or paint matched if you want spend more and have it look better.

Headlights can be cleared by forum member Jnc or if you want to be adventurous and cheap you can do it yourself like I did.
