I haven't ever been to Biff's so I looked up some info. Just so nobody's surprised, there's a $5 cover charge (Cash Only) for each vehicle, the $5 is redeemable on any food orders (dine in or take out) at Biff's. Looking forward to seeing everybody!

It is well worth the $5. Their burgers are great. And the Elvis entertainment!

So gene brown transmission finally opened up my trans (I have the third gear grind), and they are going to end up replacing all of the synchros instead of just third, apparently something inside the trans where the synchros are has play causing the synchros to go bad, so the job went from 1200 to 2150 after they opened the trans, I asked if they would just replace third gear, and they said yes but would not warranty it because it would go bad after a few days, so no choice but to have them replace all synchros and bushings :/ go figure, didn't see the 950 price increase coming, but oh well... I'm getting a two year warranty with it, god damn this car is lucky I love her! Haha

Sorry to hear but bright side is you don't have to worry about it for a few years now.

I lowered the front today looks pretty good wish I could be slammed the floor though but I know that's not really functional around here...but a compressor and air tools and everything and didn't even need it realize it was only like 8 nuts each side... debating whether to take the compressor back or not...plan to do the rear tomorrow...it actually took me like an hour or two...

hey sick since you're getting transmission fixed with warranty let's hit the drag strip lol...

Nah got new tires and they are slightly wider.

I was thinking about getting them rolled, but I'd rather raise them so it would be only 1" drop because I'm also fking up my front bumper because of the shitty streets I'm usually around.

So when are we going to have a work-on-car day? Soon?

So got my car back a week and a half and 2300 dollars lighter, glad to say third gear shifts like butter now! I had every synchro replaced, and the rear main seal while they were in there. Came with a two year warranty parts and labor, I feel like I have a brand new car again! Next is timing and rear type s lip!

Nice how much will he charge you? I know all the synchronizers in a kit are like 885, I'd go that route if I was you
