What are you doing to your headlights? Upgraded lenses? Clear diffusers?

I'm afraid to mess up mine since I have nothing wrong with them and no oxidation on them.

I've already had switchbacks so I've been itching to take them apart; I left the corners of the Amber and tinted them with vht; not worried about clear diffusers; blacked out side turn signal chrome & front chrome; left back of oem middle fog chrome...

plan to let paint dry overnight and seal them up in the morning...

Sounds like a plan. Just put my wheels back on today. I had the OEM wheels on for the alignment.

There was plenty of the oem glue left behind but use that black RTV silicone gasket stuff...couple tips I picked up over time was let everything get to outside temperature don't install your components in your head light in your house then take it outside and put it on your car...there was something else but it's late i need to go to bed lol...I guess I'll find out in the morning if I have condensation... I'm thinking I should be good though there is factory silica packets in the headlight but probably could use replacement but at least they're there...

nope never cared for lenses don't really see how they can make that much of a difference but I was kinda hasty and do my headlight so I made plans to open them in the future anyway just to do a Lowes or some other kind of special light in the stock fogs for base...I didn't want to go to the process of searching for lenses I know you can't find the real one so I'll probably just get the replicas another about 40 bucks but didn't really want to wait want to get my car done so that I can focus on performance...

plan to get a roof spoiler and lower my car just put on some window visors my morimoto headlight bulbs are late because of ice storms in Atlanta...but once I lower my car and get that roof spoiler I believe I'm done for looks...

See I have performance done bc let's be honest if I wanted a really fast I get something else but having a jpipe, hpfc and modded exhaust and tuned on hondata helps

Looks I see your point in modding bc you get so anxious. For me, I've always had this thing about being methodical how I mod my cars. I used to have this sticker that said "F*** Fake Parts"! That explained how I modded my cars and why I take awhile modding plus having the time and kids doesn't help. Lol

Are you getting morimoto bulbs for the drl or the HID bulb?

I'm looking to get window visors and roof spoiler in the next two weeks and I'm saving for coilovers instead of just going springs since I want to adjust the suspension on what type of wheels. I'd like to do some work vs-xx or some ccw lm20 but who knows I may cheap out and get some work xd9s.

I'll probably save the headlights for last since I don't know which way I want to go with that.

yeah I'm on my second TL so I already know where to get all the parts and what to do how to modify Plus yeah I'm single no kids so I have nothing else better to do with my time lol...

I only got springs because I love the drop of my other car and I've never cared for for fancy rims because I'm just going to bend then & have to get them fixed anyway...I don't even know names & brands maybe work & varreston lol...

I went for performance first on my last car that's why I chose to go for looks first on this car...when I put my last car on the dyno I was one horsepower less than a 99 z28 Camaro...I would smoke Mustang GT's in all those little Eclipse turbos all day long...YouTube 05 Acura TL vs Eclipse turbo....if I went for performance for some this time I guarantee I would have already been super charged and I recently just missed out on all the turbo piping that my friend sold...my only dilemma for performance though and why I have waited is tuned I can't use phone data it cost to much for me to get the ECU immobilizer whiskey harness and Flash Pro and have it all program to work ...I need to get Jan recu I think that's my best option just can't find the right harness...

I ordered the morning motos for my headlight HID bulbs to match my switch back side markers and my fogs...if I wasn't in a hurry to do my headlights I would have added some kinda second projector or LED's for the stock base fog lights that are in the middle...but I had to change them because everything looks great besides my stock headlights...I don't mind opening them up again later no big deal for me...

sorry for the long journey that I wrote but I use talk to text on my phone so I don't have to type anything lol...

oh yeah I'm in Houston right now & was searching the Houston Craigslist and picked up complete k&n cold air intake minus the filter for only $50...lol...

I forgot to mention I love cars I love cars I love cars ever since I knew what one was...when I was young I was downtown taking a bus home or something and saw an Aston Martin parked in 30 minute parking so I got off my skateboard and sat down and waited so I could hear it startup and take off lol...

and I don't think our cars are fast I think they're quick but the reason why I didn't get something twin turbo 600 horsepower or a Corvette that I can double the horsepower is because I'm still too young and I don't want to kill myself or mess up that precious baby of a car....

Understandable.
I love modding cars but it comes second now that I have a family. I'm all about tasteful modding. Anyone can add parts to their car but it's about how they do it.

What made you go with morimoto instead of some CBIs or Phillip HiD bulb? I heard build quality is not as good plus the color as well. I'm just asking bc quality really matters to me.

Btw my last s2000 had ccw lm20 with gold bolts and I never bent any rim nor scratched it. You just have to take precaution.

yeah I average getting two or three rims fixed a year I'm definitely not into $5k rims lol...

I went with morning motivate cause they have a good feedback; some people on here have them and liked them even champ; & I put these in my mom's new maxima and they look pretty good... I saw demonstrations compared to the Phillips and it seems about the same not to mention Phillips are just as good as our bulbss and they're like $200 a piece....when the powered both bulbs on both lit up and suddenly there was no delay in the morimoto...

and I'm really not a quality person probably the only thing I really care about quality is is my smoke lol...gotta be on that good good lol...doesn't mean I purposely put s*** ass part but if I can save $100 for the same thing by all means I'm going to do it...I can always replace it later with the top quality if really needed...

main reason I went with Marie moto is because I needed the color to match my switchbacks and led fogs...

second reason is because I made an offer to retrofit source for 35 bucks brand new and they accepted it...

lol I f****** hate taking backyard pics but the only reason why I haven't is because I need to do my suspension that's the only reason why haven't I ever took pics cuz I've had that suspension sitting in my room and its not installed...they called me in to work so the yesterday so I didn't get to do it and I'm probably be with my little brother this weekend so probably won't be able to do it then eitherr....since I have a work van I need to just do it during the week and leave it torn a part if need be...I'll post a link for the roof spoiler off ebay that's all I really want more but I don't really want to spend 80 more dollars...plus I want a
lightweight pulley that cost 120 so that's 200 for just a couple parts

Its almost a 30 min drive for me with light traffic, 8 would be good. anybody know what time it starts, wouldn't want us to roll in at 8 and not have any spots to park.
