How about pre muffler? It should be fine at the header, a leak will have a different sound than a full open system...I hope... It would just be funny when I see a Camaro and mustang rev at each other at light...Flip the switch and BAM All 6 cylinders of mighty VTEC yapping back at them.

Now to install NOS for some real street cred and exhaust flame system

There easy right? Haven't done mine yet. Remove Sway Bar and coolant reservoir. Then take out plugs and put new plugs in 13 ft lb. right?
I'll come and watch and learn, maybe even offer a hand if needed. Are the OEM spark plugs NGK?

lol at a Justin. What freaked him out?

A small compressor would fit nicely in that awkward part of the trunk backing into the back seat.

My wife is going to kill me when we get our tax return and start seriously looking into the possibility of this...Totally worth it!

Well they'd do it cheaper I told you to let me know first and I'll call.

And be quick to question the $199 price as you have no idea the work quality they have.

No the saw my front bumper parked backwards at the other place lol. ... and I talked him down to that price. .. when I told your guy I could get it new for $250 he was like "ooh" well maybe just paint 200...heavy older white guy looked like he could be owner/manager... he saw my car & wanted my money mistake I made was saying I knew it was pearl paint before he mentioned it...

I think them seeing my front bumper made them wanna charge me more so I parked backwards at the second place...I talked the second place down to 199 when I said I can get a new one for 250...when I told your guy I could get it new for 250 that I'm trying to pay 200 or less he said "ooh can maybe do just paint for 200... So that's + $250 more for a couple ounces of bondo?!...I got him caught up in his own BS not a person I would want to do business with even if he did it at my price...them seeing my car made him wanna charge me that's why I kinda wanted to go when I was stock...

Oh well just letting you know to be careful with the other place because $200 + fixing bumper + paint is too low for anyone to charge.

I don't know if it $200+ to fix the bumper, but I wouldn't call him BS... Any other place would've charged you nearly double that. :/ He gave you a price to paint and fix the bumper at $450 which is reasonable. When he only charged me $175-$200 he was just charging me to re-paint my bumper which is what the price I spoke with you about. It is usually cheaper to replace an A SPEC to fix it broken. Just IMO

Ya its all good; i know our paint is special but I just think $450 is too high to paint anything... they have to repair I'm sure 9.5 out of 10 bumpers that need to be painted need repair. .thanks to azine we can get such a low price one guy got quoted like $600 for a Focus front lip at the dealership...

Ya he'll do $250 shipped but depending on what piece you want (front/rear); it might only come black or white (nbp/wdp)... & champ I don't thik the place I went to knew it was pearl they just wrote down the paint code & said ok well take care of it... but I signed on the dotted line for the price they quoted me...

TL Luver, Normal cost of repainting a bumper is around $400. They have to strip the old paint, primer it, sand, paint it. It is a more time consuming process repainting a bumper vs buying one not painted and prepping/painting it.

You can try to give a friend of mine a call that did our MDX repairs. Alamo Heights Paint and Body. Carlos Jr. Let him know I sent you (real name).

Cool thanks to know for the future but its already a done deal; should be ready for pickup on monday $199 with tax...their a smaller shop with low overhead...and I trust them is because that's my old neighborhood I use to see that spot for years never changed names...I always see all kinds of cars parked newer an old and always see them working fixing cars so I trust them plus I didn't have to pay anything upfront I won't have to pay until I agree on the work...

And y'all can criticize my $200 paint job then lol...

does anyone here know how to photoshop I want to post a thread that I'll pay $5 for anybody to Photoshop me dual base muffler tips on a rear type s aspec preferably in NBP...

I have two sets of base tips: and my idea is to cut one a little short like a couple inches and weld it to the outer side of a full tip maybe even a little staggered creating one single dual base tip...I'll just paint them black...

where should I post for this black market rambling thread I just don't know where I should post but if wanted I'll pay someone like 5 bucks threw pay pal...

getting rear lip put on probably within the next couple days in gonna look stupid with regular base tips...
