I know; I'm hoping for the best...clutch delivery changed to tomorrow ...
Got my free pair of 6k morimotos in today though with free two day shipping ..
how you might ask?...stupid ass retrofit source messed up my order never received my item; taking showed no activity;wouldn't respond to my emails so I was forced to leave negative feedback ...
"Never received item; bogus tracking #; seller wouldn't return msgs" lol...
went to PayPal they gave me my refund; not too long after got a message from retrofit source saying they were sorry it got lost in the mail.."if I would consider revising my feedback then they would send me out a new pair ASAP free of charge"...
So feedback revised two days later (today) received ... things were like $50 ...

You replaced your clutch with an OEM one? Bleed again, if the problem persists then you might need a new slave. Make sure there is no leaks at the conectors . Also check that clutch assist system (not sure what it's called but I had one in the S2000 and I removed it. Maybe it's called the clutch delay valve?)

Thanks for the info. Well, I do not consider myself an expert driver by any means. However, I have been driving for a while, about 38 years and have 33 years experience driving M/T. Of the car's I've owned some have been M/T (1988 Accord 5SPD, 2003 Accord 5SPD, 2006 Acura TL 6SPD) and this one (2012) which I bought brand new May 2011. Never had clutch problems with any of those. You could be right, it could be that in three years I still haven't learned how to master the clutch in this car. (BTW, I don't ride the clutch, son.)
So maybe it isn't a clutch problem. Well, at least three Acura technicians have driven the car and they say it doesn't slip. Could be just in my head.

Just as I suspected!
glad it was covered under warranty and I knew you would have an easier time getting it covered.
the tech indicates that he sees heat scores on pressure plate and flywheel, this leads me to believe the driver is at fault.
Dont let any one drive your car!!!!!!
Adjust the way you drive to match the car! stupid Acura clutch being so hard to operate.

but hey, whatever works to help you sleep at night!!
if the spec stage 2 clutch and associated fly wheel gets rid of the dual mass fly wheel set up, it will be a superior set up only because you went back to a conventional clutch set up.
Not because the stage 2 is stiffer.

just make sure you dont get on it anytime soon!...says alot of low mph city/traffic driving is the best way to break in the new clutch for at least a few hundred miles!...or else we could end up glazing & have to have it redone soon...once its broken in evenly were good...
been out of town for like 4 days just got back today... finally got the car running bought this $40 brake/clutch bleeder kit but dont think that was even the problem...raised the pedal & im good thanks Manuel & Dennis...think i tore up a motor mount though so whatever...car shifts good...

best way would be to use common sense for a couple hundred miles, making sure you dont beat on it.

Theres a potective coating that needs to be worn away first before any high stress or it will glaze...most people get a new clutch and get on it and have to replace it with an a few thousand miles they didn't let it break and its on even wear on the clutch disc...you can see pictures and videos of uneven clutch wear on a brand new disk it already slipping...
there's definitely a differencefof you dropping your new clutch and start hauling ass around down the road opposed to drop in your new clutch breaking it in and then put high stress to it...
I kind of learned all about clutches over the fat past few weeks...and when I see is about 10 mechanics are saying the same thing on a clutch install I think there may be some sort of truth to it don't you think?...most mechanics say that they're going to go out and put the miles on the clutch themselves because the customer is going to go to ruin it and blame them in a few weeks...

I pulled this from another forum http://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-tra...reak-myth.html
Quote, "Break-in is all about seating/bedding the material. This is due to the fact that the disc surface will always have a bit of variance and because the outer edge of the disc will wear in faster than the inner edge (farther from the center-line of the assembly). If you do not seat the material the unit will not provide its maximum drivability, capacity, or durability. That being said, we suggest a 500 miles break-in because it allows the materials to seat fully before they are aggressively driven in all kits other than our stage 5. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks,
~~~
The mileage suggested for break-in is relative to the typical amount of mileage required to fully seat the material. This mileage can vary dependent on the driving style of the individual user and as such is merely a generalized estimate that should cover the largest number of users possible. I hope this info helps. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks,"
