Im happy too,the mechanic even topped my ATF cuz some spilled off when he took out my cv joint. So now my first gear shifts different (much better than b4),but the only "sound" i hear is from my fender liner. It clips my tire when i make sharp turns cuz its missing the clips that hold it to the fender.

Nope,i just loosened the lower perch and just started turning (those two top perches were moving too,but i measured it and it was going lower) and i also adjusted it from the lower nut where the blue shock ends and meets with that bottom part).
For sure i'll come over,i saw one today (SRT8) on my way back from Pasadena (Blue with racing stripes) and i was like damn that car looks nice especially its bi-xenons.

Yupp,when i measured the rear it seemed lower than the front so i think ima prolli lower the front a lil..but im still scared of scraping. I'd advise anybody that wants to go lower,Coilovers > Springs. I bet you would wanna go lower when u install the coilovers

I read a thread today, and it said that Tien SS dont come with Top hats. that means we would have to compress the springs to take off stock top hats? and then compress the springs on the tiens in order to get the stock top hats on?

 

Yikes,if they dont come with it then i guess thats what we're gonna have to do..but then again its a coilover,it should come with it already.

 

I also looked at pictures from google. i typed in tiens ss.
the pictures show everything except the top hats.

its deterring me from getting tiens. I'll look into megans, f/f, and H&Rs

 

Here i typed it on google,and it shows most of them with top hats and few of them w/o CLICKY. So its prolli you have to ask who you order it from if you can also order a top hat,or if it already comes with one. I actually like my ride comfort on my Megans,my damper is set to +8 on the stiff side now and it came with 12kgF and 5kgR spring rates which is pretty good and not too bouncy.

 

oh okay, now i see some of them with top hats.
I'm still thinking about these, then.

Tein and H&R coilovers for the 3G TL do not come with top hats.

You have to swap the hats or buy new oem. It's really not bad.

Megan deletes the lower bushing on the rear shocks. I never liked that so I knew I was going to get either Tein SS or H&R.

 

I just saw the cleanest Vigor on Westheimer.

Light silver on some nice sporty wheels.

Oh,didnt know that..I just dont really like the compressing spring idea cuz my dad has told me horror stories bout how springs "shoot" out if not compressed well. But if he goes for them,then we have no choice.

I think i saw paulonfire on I10W this evening around 5-6ish. I was trying to get my buddy to get a pic but you merged in front of the car ahead of me. It had some sort of greddy evo catback,a drop and some chrome/polished wheels.

Sorry,if anybody tried to get a hold of me w/o any answer. Its cuz i lost or someone stole my cellphone today. Guess the thief really wanted me to get a new phone since i needed to change it,but it still sucks and i hope karma gets that asshole tho.

Haha guess what? I found the phone! I was gonna hit the fool that brought the phone but my dad made me not to. So i went to the shop today (11450 bissonnet,im sure you'll know it) with my dad to see what the body man is doing and get a replacement windshield.

My dad told his body man since hes hispanic to ask his other hispanic friends if they saw my phone,fast foward to 8-10mins later some dude brought my phone

Dude (possibly the thief):"is this ur phone?"
Me: i was like "yea where did u find it at?".
Dude(PTT): "You left it in my car yesterday,and i found it when i was driving home"
Me: "Are u serious?,i never leave my personal stuffs in strangers car if ur not close to me"
Dude(PTT): "Well you have to pay me"
Me: "Pay you?u gotta be kidding (at this point i wanted to punch his face)" my dad didnt let me.


So then he left,saying shit in spanish and i checked my phone and saw it said no service, (i had tried calling my phone last night but it kept going to Vmail).

I then opened up the back cover to check and saw my sim card was removed and turned the other way around (hence the no service) with black stains on it from possibly working on cars. I laughed and said this fool really did steal my shit.

 

I still hope karma gets that asshole some how tho!.
