aftermarket wheels look horrible with a gap.....I just re-read your post, and it seems like you have both springs and wheels in your possession. If I was doing the install, I'd take off your stock wheels, install the springs, then install the aftermarket wheels, for sake of efficiency.

Cuz I wouldnt want to put on your aftermarket wheels, just to take them off again. know what im sayin?
And I'm only free on the weekends. Emmanual is talkin about tomorrow or thursday, which I'm not able to do.

Ralph,i hate installing springs (almost did once but my dad didnt like the idea cuz he said its dangerous) but we can all do the install as long as u rent the spring compressor from autozone or something.

Saif,i didnt know those headlights are that expensive for cleared ones..we can all just do it. much cheaper that way.

Justin, sure i'll come over on Saturday morning. Text me ur add,and also PM me on more infos on ur detailing. possible discount?

LOL the internet is at my fingertips. If i'm not sure, there are plenty of DIY's on clearing headlights.
all we do is just put them in the oven at 320 for 20 mins.
But like ralph said, its pretty time consuming and being patient will have its rewards.

I'll even do mine with yours.

I have screw type spring compressors. I installed mine and Ricardo's H&R coilovers. You need air tools or electric impact to compress though. No way you want to do that by hand.

You guys are welcome to borrow the compressors if needed...

I read that you 3G guys hav a different top hats and different size of lower bolts. So if you get those from a 3G then it'll work. i got mine from Throwdown Performance for $675 shipped.

Thanks for the offer bro,we'll definitely need an air compressor cuz we were actually gonna just use our bare muscles to take off any crazy bolts. Like Nauman asked,is it mobile?

I was only referring to my spring compressors. There the screw type, so an air impact gun is def needed.

My air compressor does have wheels, I guess you guys could borrow it. It's a 5 HP, 30 gal or something close to that. It pretty big to transport.

I was thinking of selling it too. It's a loud mother trucker, and I just moved into a condo/townhouse. I don't have neighbors yet, but it's only a matter of time.

Haha dang it,i guess we cant use it then cuz none of us have trucks to pick it up with; and we're not even planning on disturbing neighbors lol.
I guess we're just going to stick to out manly muscles lol,i just hope we're still able to get them out tho.

EDIT: Come to think of it,when i was first installing my RSB last year;i used my muscles to get the bolt screwed to the shock and end links out. (I was a n00b doing it then)

Yeah your going to need air tools or electric impact for any screw type spring compressor. The spring compressor is needed to remove the old spring, then again for the new spring install, or swapping the top hat. So that 8 times for all 4 corners. There is 2 screws for the spring compressor too, no way I would do that by hand. It's like clock work with a impact though.

You could find someone with a smaller compressor though, if you have an air impact gun. There pretty common.

I did my springs without any impact tools, and I used the screw-type spring compressors from Autozone. It's kind of a PITA, but not too bad, just take a bit longer. The most time consuming part is getting out the back seat and getting to the top bolts, IMO.

I could possibly swing by and give you guys a hand, time permitting.

badassvtec, u dont need any air tools to do the coilovers on your car. just a little bit of torque to brake the bolts loose at first, after that its all easy. but either way, if u can get air tools, they always make things a lot easier.
