Hey everyone, I wanted to stop in and say whats up. I just moved down here from Iowa this past weekend and looking forward to meeting other members on this forum. I have a black 2008 TL Type S with a few mods looking to add more. I have a few quick questions if you could help answer as I am new to the area.

1. Is there a good alignment shop anyone recommends or is Firestone lifetime alignment good enough?
2. Any Acura mechanics anyone knows of that does good work for reasonable price?
3. Any good tint shops that can remove and replace tint? Looking to get 35% from 50%.

3. Executive Tint or EVS Motors. I got mine done at EVS and it was $275 to install without removal of old tints.

To answer your questions,

1. Brake Check at 10209 Hwy 6 South Houston, TX 77478. A few of us with lowered cars get the lifetime alignment from here. It is around $130 and make sure Jerry does your alignment, he's the man!

About the mechanic I was just checking for any future repairs that may happen. I did partially rip the front underbody airdam/splash shield when loading/unloading my car on the Uhaul trailer that I ghetto rigged for now

well damn, I was hoping for a nice cruise with a long ass row of beautiful TL's cruising down the highway. Maybe we can try to plan something like that for the summer. Off the top of my head, if we met up and left early enough, we could drive down to Lake Travis for the day and then hit up 6th St. later that night. Just a thought. But I am down for a bbq just the same.

so sad to say the CL has suffered a major oil leak in the front main seal. i am now drive a 2009 smart car! Love the MPG. still have gas in there from last week!

I went to the fleamarket off 45 south an they installed my tint for 100 ive have it for a year now and still in perfect condition

 

I got my tint done at Executive Tint, they do great work have a good selection of different films and work with you on cost. If you just want darker windows and don't really care about UV protection flea market on telephone and beltway will do.

Thanks for the welcome and info on the Tint. I'm looking to primarily just keep my leather from drying out from the sun thats why I want to go alittle darker, also partially for looks. Did you guys get moleskin installed? I didn't the first time so I do have streaks of scratches but not too bad.
