Hey guys, I just saw that i need a B12 service done on my car. It says that I need to have my oil change done and also have my tires rotated and filter replacement.

Does anyone know how much it typically cost? I've looked around and heard some places charges $400+!!

Well the D2S size is compatible with a lot of other HID cars.
For example: Lexus GS & IS, BMW 3(E46), Infiniti, etc.
So you should be alright with selling locally.

People in my area don't drive those types of vehicles. Most drive domestic cars and SUVs. I'd list them for sale on Houston Craigslist but they would want to meet up in person and I'm not going to do that. I learned my lesson about posting things on Houston Craigslist. People in Houston low-ball like NO OTHER!! It's crazy. I'd rather just wait for someone who needs them on here or houston-imports.

I guess I could put them on eBay and get gouged on listing and final selling fees

I am getting my B12 service done today. its about $300 and there is a dealer coupon for 10% off. It consists of oil change, filters, rotate tires, wiper blades replaced, injection fluids, and inspections (basically a visual check of parts). was gonna do it myself, but time is money

Go to a Honda dealership. It's usually cheaper than the Acura dealership. $400?? At least make them take you to dinner before they rape you.

Regular, non-synthetic oil change (including filter) should run you $30 (3000 miles)

Synthetic oil change (including filter) should run $75 (5000 miles)

Tire rotation should run you $20-$35, depending if you do it separately from the oil change. Honda dealerships generally charges a $35 to do a 4 tire rotation.

I recommend synthetic oil. In all, you're looking at roughly $125, far from $400.

Just noticed the nice new rotors. I need some myself but I'm trying to decide between those Brakemotive and the Stop Tech. You guys have experience with either? Which do you prefer?

Honestly, it doesnt fucking matter.
rotors are rotors are rotors.
I have power slot slotted rotors and they seem to perform the same as I are legends Brakmotive rotors.

its all what you can afford, and what YOU think looks good.
Personally, I dont like the way the drilled rotors look, so I opted for just slotted.

the only time you will take full advantage of the rotors is if you're on the track with repeated stops.

I have the same power slot rotors you have and they get the job done. No complaints here.

I called a Honda dealership (59 & the Beltway) and was quoted $291 whereas in the Acura dealership i was quoted $293

B12:
B service totaled $119
1 = totaled $39
2 = totaled $135

I guess if you add labor, a cabin air filter, and engine air filter in there, that sounds about right. You're a MAN, right? DO IT YOURSELF.
