Looking for a place to get TL-S a-spec body kit installed
My TL-S a-spec body kit just arrived.
I know it is a simple install and there's tons of write ups to DIY, but I just don't want to mess it up at all.
Anyone know of place that can install it for a good price and does a good job or if someone in the area (Houston) has done this before and feels comfortable doing it I am willing to pay.
Thanks.

its your call.
tons of members have dropped on H&Rs and Eibachs without any suspension failing.
Even some Houston members are dropped without any ill effects.
If you are getting springs, the only part that would fail with time(talking about years or thousands of MILES) is the OEM shocks. but then there are WAY better aftermarket shocks anyway...
so why go to a dealer to get warrantied only to put on the OEM shocks....?

Yeah... I'd prefer to go 1.5-2 inches... the only thing deterring me is 100k warranty I have and $hitty Houston roads...
Who knows... maybe I'll go aftermarket anyways.

drop how ever much you want....
if a suspension part fails due to the lowered springs, just buy brand new aftermarket shocks.
or do this in the beginning....
buy aftermarket shocks(koni yellows)
with your choice of springs....H&R sports/race
with this route, you'llhave custom dampening and whatever drop the springs are.
btw, I can install suspension as well.

Thanks... I managed the front install fine by myself, no scratches, do you think I'll need someone for the rear?

uh, lowering your car certainly affects the suspension.
The car is designed to be at a certain height, lowering your car changes the angles of all sorts of things, one of which being the cv joints. Dont believe for a second that lowering springs wont be an excuse for the dealership to void the warranty on certain suspension parts.
Now whether or not they can prove that springs are what caused the problem is a different story. Sterling McCall ended up covering parts on my car because they couldn't prove that my aftermarket parts made them break.
