LF: Help to install Springs on a 3g TL (Houston Area)
As the topic states I am seeking some assistance in getting my lowering springs installed. I would prefer someone who has experience with the 3G TL suspension. I am willing to provide food/drinks. HELP

Sorry for not introducing myself, my name is Dennis. I have been to a few AZ meet so I know some people but I am not sure I met you. I am free on the weekends starting next weekend. I don't mind waiting until it gets cooler as I am not a fan of the current heat. Yes the itch is there because I hate having stuff and not installing immediately but I have learnt the hard way not to rush things when I had my prelude. I guess we could plan a date and if others need help with anything we can all help each other.

I assume the sway bar end-link and bolt is out?
Once you have the top hat and lower fasteners removed, it should just pry out from the hub. You might have to push the susp down a little for clearance, once it pops out from the hub, to slide the shock assembly out.

i got it out finally all day on just one side. the problem is the word pry. it did just pry out how ever in what manner is the problem. nsxers said the same thing just pry. the thing is they fail to mention pry it from the side push strut to the side of the cv axel. man all day with that lol. all i had to do was pry.

What susp parts are you installing? Just drop springs?
I would re-lube the sway bar bushings while your at it. If they are dried out you could get the squeaks once the susp is set up a little different.
Also, when you reassemble the susp, attach and bottom (not tightened) the fasteners, then bring the susp to normal ride height, then torque down. That's the right way to do it. Kinda a PITA when you don't have a lift, or drive-on rack, but do-able.
