I figured that it was the least that I could do-considering that Ethan was letting us crash at his place for the weekend!!

So, I'm testing out my gas mileage this week -- trying to lay off the gas when possible (staying below 2500rpm mostly) and not go much over 75mph. It's really hard to stay disciplined -- even for a few days!

Man no shit...I've been trying to do the same ever since that damn post about gas...But once I'm on the Tollway, which I am everyday, its too damn hard to stay below 75mph. But I'm trying

I have given up with getting good gas mileage. It's not even worth me trying-I always end up goosing it once in a while.

If I go perm, then I will be making over 45k a year which is more than what I was making at Microsoft.

Even though I got this job, I am still going to look for something else that pays more. If I get something better than I will take it, but I am going to try to stay with this job for at least 6 months, longer if I get hired on perm.

check with Ethan..i think he makes $593,000 a year an airplane guru.

it is hard, I used to alway have to be passing people to be happy. For some reason I've calmed down and now I put the cruise at 70 and chill.

Yeah, I just gotta calm down my aggressive ideas and relax behind the wheel -- every time I see an open lane I wanna drop into 3rd and hammer it by everyone!

And I have a few days left of probation, so I really have to watch it and make sure that I don;t get pulled over!

I've got 3 months of probation starting from whenever my court date will be. I really gotta be careful -- so checking my gas mileage is probably a really good idea right now.

Yup, it really is addicting. The best way that I can describe it is when I saw that Lambo when we were getting on the highway-adrenalin gets pumpin, your vision starts tunneling, and nothing else in the world matters.

You get the one track mind-must go faster.

I used to get that when my car was new, and I thought it was fast.

Ya know, my CL-S definitely has lost some luster after driving around in the Torque-Mobile for a few months now -- but winding out 3rd gear in it is still a butt-load of fun!

Yep, started my new job today. I have a phone and wireless headset, but no computer yet. They are trying to find me a laptop to use until my new system comes in. My new system won't be in for at least a week. So the only posting that I will be doing is when I get home for now.

Today was a pretty boring day. The manager that hired me, didn't come in until 10am, and I had already been there since 7am. So for 3 hours I did nothing but sit in my cousins cube and bug him the whole time. Then when the manager came in, I started training on one of their lab machines.

Man, those first few days on the new job are really tiring, huh. Boring and long and stressful! Glad you've got a check rolling in, bro!

Hey man, How about that volleyball court they're installing in our courtyard! Those guys are making quick work of it, eh!?

Yea it can be tiring. I know they are moving quick on that thing. They have only been working on it for a full week. I think the flyer said that they will have an official tournament on the 28th to celebrate it being built I guess. Now that I am working though I can't watch them build it all day anymore! lol

Oh well, time to go to a bar and do a little celebrating for getting a job!
