That really doesnt sound like a bad idea. If you get a small sheet of it and give me the measurments I could bring that baby to work and cut it for ya.

Ha, it is Friday afternoon, and my brain is fried. It has been a hell of a week, and all I want to do is go home and chill.

By the way, what do y'all think of this:

My stereo reciever is doing ok, I mean, it is not bad, but it just doesn;t sound great. One of my best buddies works at a higher-end audio place and worked up the following deal for me:

Yamaha RXV757 7.1 receiver (pretty cool-it comes with a micraphone that you place at your seating location and it automatically calibrates the speakers)
Two sets of Paradigm Cinema series di-poles for the rear half of the room.
A bunch of speaker wire and a couple sets of high quality Component vid cables.

Anyways, he can do all of this for me at $1k with 12 months no interest financing. What y'all think?

That sounds like a real solid deal for the group if that Yamaha model isn't one of the bottom-feeder models. You have some strong fronts to compliment the di-poles?

Honda will have you believe the same thing.

wow this thread moves fast.......

you should see how fast we can wear them out though doing what we do, lol....3 months maximum is what they would last us...but they are well worth it!

As for tires that can last you, try some dunlops. They are pretty good tires.

hopefully someone will be able to explain this to me...

Why does it seem like there are 2 5th gears in the tranny? When I'm cruising in 5th in SS and give it some gas to accelerate it seems to down shift and gets up to 2500 rpms, when i let off it will drop back down to around 2K. I know it's not going to 4th because when I downshift to 4th it jumps to about 3100 rpms. So what is going on there?

^^ That's Acura's gas saving technique -- you can do a search on that topic to find out exactly what it's doing. I wish I knew more about it -- so if you find a good link post it in here.

When I get into my house I wanna stick a small bar (like 6 feet long) with a nice cabinet above it on the back wall of the theater room. It's not until December when I move in, but I'm glad to have you as an option.
