Stay Away from Hawk HPS Street Brake Pads

Thanks for the heads up Danny. Maybe I'll just sell the hawks and pick up some greenstuffs. Why does this have to be so difficult?

I did the rotors on my last car. Rotors are just as easy as pads, maybe even easier. Just get an impact screwdriver bro. I used to have the Axxis pads too and damn do they have a lot of brake dust.

This time I bought EBC fronts and rears but I haven't put them on yet. I want to pick up a set of rotors but my rotors aren't warped yet.

if you brake and the car shakes.. that is usually an indication of warped rotors... usually if your fronts are warped, u may have warped rears??? try stopping the car with your e-brake???

went and test drove an 06 GTO tonight. My little bro is looking for a new car, at the top of the list is an STI, but driving the GTO sounded worth while. We'd both driven one before at the GM Auto Show in motion, but of course that doesn't compare to driving it on the street. That car pulls so hard it's amazing. I really love the looks of it too. I've been planning on keeping my CL for quite some time and saving money with no car payment, but man that GTO is very very tempting.

A coworker has a black 2door that looks really nice. I'm assuming it's 100% stock, and the ride height is really low. The wheel / fender gap is downright BMW-ish. Daddy likey!

i think 2000 trans am takes the cake for me over any GTO, 6.0 litre or otherwise. I love the sexy lines. The craftsmanship on the interior of pontiacs sucks ass but the power is definitely there. plus you don't see them that often. that or grayson's viper. i'm pretty sure you could get a 1995 viper for what it costs to get a new gto.

man i'd rather have a new gto, that 95 viper will drive for about 2miles and take a big phat shit.....btw the new gto's are pretty 90% assembled and made or whatever in Australia and the interior is actually pretty nice, almost has a Euro flavor to it

I'd venture to say that the build quality on a new GTO is gonna be at least as good as my 2001 CL-S. Can't back it up, but I bet it is. It also has roughly double the torque. :yummy:
