I knew that the odds were in my favor, but hell, they are just odds, and every once in a while, the negative has to come up. I just thought that this time the odds pulled up negative and that it was really going to crash. I can't tell you how many times I have flown in airplanes and had "fun encounters" but man, this time, it really felt like it was going down.

yes the new lucky number is eight... that is why my sn is KaMLuNg888, and in NJ my license plat was CHAU888 ... 8 symbolizes luck, success and prosperity... sort of like the american 7...
the reason u saw money near buddahs and statues is because in buddhism they believe greatly in karma... when u pray to the gods, you sacrafice what you can in order to bring good luck... those that become monks are essentially giving up their time to be god's servant... those of us who work and cannot donate time, instead we donate money... different ppl have different ways.. like my mom for instance has given up meat... as much poor people there are in china, you will never see a person steal the money from the floor... if they have bad fortune and are poor, if they steal that money, they will stay poor.. karma...
