Yamaha YHT-1500 versus Bose Lifestyle 18...

The Bose system is 8 months old, in excellent condition and the agreed price is $550. The Yamaha YHT-1500 is a new, sounded great but is a much bigger system (I have a small living room and space is limited

I am leaning towards the Bose as it has the 5 small cube speakers with the player & sub. Just want to see if anyone has experience/comments with this system. This system is more compact and the price is awesome.

Thanks for any help. I posted earlier on the Bose 3-2-1 and poo pooed that after I got some good (nay) comments.

Bose sucks.... I have listened to everything from 20 dollar computer speakers to 100k a pair custom home theater speakers. Bose is over rated junk. You can get speakers that sound 100x better for the money. Go to any real home audio/theater store, not best buy or circut city and they dont even carry Bose.

Any good deals on the SW-1500? Lowest I've seen is http://etronics.resultspage.com/disp...x=0&image1.y=0
$469

I might try to look for the out of production SW-800 instead for less.

Oh nevermind, youre looking for the complete mini system.
