I went to log on to my computer the other day, and it said that my "profile was corrupt so it would create a temporary one for me to use" or somthing like that.
So, I then copied some pics from my memory stick to the computer and saved them to the desktop (of the temporary profile) and then accidentally deleted them off the memory stick. After I restarted the computer, I did the same thing and got logged onto a temp profile again, and it looks like I lost all the pictures. Anyway to get them back, or are they all stored somewhere that I can't seem to find?

 

Was it a guest account?

Try looking under C:\Documents and Settings

 

Yea, I already tried looking in the desktop folder of ever account in docs and settings.... no luck at all.

 

Unfortunately, temp=temp.


Time to figure out why it is giving you a temporary profile. One possibility would be that your disk is full.

 

if you havent put new files on your memory stick you can try using some data recovery software to retrieve the deleted files.

 

Try searching for them?
