Normally rippers are based more off of winamp..

What specifically are you trying to rip? Shows? Songs?

I believe you can record the souce recording by going to the root directory of the website streaming the video. While the video is streaming, right click on screen, go to properties, copy the location of the file to your web browser. It will load WMP, from WMP Save as...and boom you have the file.

Xenogen thanks that worked for the smaller videos. But I tried it on one of the videos that was an hour and half and the "save as" was grayed out. Have any idea why that is?

Yes it's in my temp folder but it's in a .dat format. If you try renaming it then it won't work.

Alucard13 what is a windows media encoder?

A program that lets you stream and capture video from different sources, like lets say you had a video in, you can copy it to an mpeg or stream it to the internet so others can watch, you can do the same with your desktop and record everything going on your screen or stream whats going on your screen. I use it at work to check on the employees to make sure they are working instead of eating shit on acurazine, only I can do that ha aha haaha. Anyway what you can do is set it up to capture your screen to a file watch the streaming video you want make it full screen and when it's over close the window and stop captureing your screen.

Later if you want you can edit out the parts that show you using the mouse to maximize and minimize the window.

The best free thing microsoft ever made, windows media encoder 9
