ok people...this may be a moronic question, but how the hell do you remove the blue from around your icons on your desktop when you have a wallpaper?(see pic below)


I've tried to change my desktop settings...but i can't find how to change it....

personally, I'd have an icon-free desktop and move all those icons to a hideable taskbar at the bottom.

 

go to appearance in the display properties, click advanced and you can change the color of your desktop that is under your wallpaper. i'd go black.

 

oh, nevermind, tinmans directions look more advanced.

 

heh heh...yea...those are the ladies that came down from Ennis to get away from their husbands and party down in Austin...i couldn't join them on 6th Street b/c I'm not 21....oh well...at least I got the pic
