I usually keep mine in the door handle part, but if I have music on and I don't hear it ring I miss calls. I'm trying to figure out some way to mount it near the stereo or up front somewhere, so I can at least see it flashing when it rings.

Where does everyone else keep theirs?

On my hip. But I don't use my cell phone when I drive -- that's what the OnStar phone is for.

I attach the phone clip to the sun visor and attach my phone there.

I made a semi-custom mount for it that keeps it just to the right of the head unit.

Mine gets clipped on the driver’s side sun visor.
It’s a flip-open style w/ speakerphone for hands free driving.
If it rings I just flip it open and talk.
Very convenient because answering a call while driving in the city with stick shift is darn near impossible since both hands are busy.

It’s an LG-VX4500 by the way.

I would do that, but the visor is about an inch thick and my clip doesn't fit around it. It only fits on the side where it angles down a little, but I'm paranoid that on a sharp right the phone would fly out the window.

I might try one of those vent clip things.

I don't have a pic. All you do is pull the long trim piece off the on the right side of the center console to expose the head unit mounting screw. Remove the screw, put the mount's screw hole over the head unit's screw hole, and replace the screw. Replace the trim piece and you're done. You now have a small (maybe 3"x3") flat metal platform just to the right of your head unit that you can attach whatever you want to. I modified a phone holster to act as a cradle for the phone. I got the mount at http://www.awswireless.com/ .
