I have cingular right now for the next year, and I'm not elgible for an upgrade so I want to buy a new phone. I have around 300-350 to spend, what do you guys recommend?

Right now I have a Motorola V220, and don't like it at all. Sometimes it freezes, the camera on the phone is a joke...and I the speakerphone is way too low. Plus I got 200 scuffs on it, and just looks like crap.

I'm looking for something stylish but also with good functionality. Basically a pimp phone that works good.

Any ideas? Whats a good place to order from?

What do you guys think of the Sliver? Or Pebl? Both motos...Thanks in advance!

 

I personally am not into those new Motorola phones that are coming out. They are pretty overpriced just like the Razr was when it first came out. I like the Sliver much better than the Razr though. Haven't seen the Pebl yet. I suggest going to Ebay to see if you can find a good deal on a phone there. If you buy retail you will pay too much....basically paying for the hype of a new phone.

I have a Sony Ericsson s710a, just bought it about a month ago. (Ebay). Eventhough it has been out for a while, it is my favorite phone out of all the ones I have seen so far, and I had my eye on it for over a year, but I am a cheap ass so I waited for the price to come down considerably.

That's the one I'm thinking about getting. I get a new Nokia every year through a friend at Cingular. I have the 6030 right now and it's decent, but I want the mother now. I can't afford getting an 8801 or any N-series, though I'd love to have one.

thats true, but knowing how fast technology grows these days, those few years you estimated could just be few months

 

Considering nokia already lists what phones are coming out within the next year on their website, I don't think that'll happen
