Question What DSL modems do you guys use ?

Looking for a new modem that will work with windows 2000
Anyone with the Speed Stream 5260 ?

I use bellsouths dsl serive, i think its speedstream 4060 or something. ITs fast on some pages, buit sometimes on yours tim, its gets stuck, and i hav eo hit reload alot to get it toi give me the post, i always get searching for www.yellowrod.com or somelike that when it happends at the bottom. other than that, i am very happy with it, and since u can be on th ephone and computer at tsame time, its better in my book. Plus i can dl form napster real fast 2.

Road Runner Cable Modems are the way to go...Also use Download Accelerator with it. Man, it's at the speed of light....And it's fully compatible with 2000.

I have comcast@home cable modem, the Toshiba PCX1100. Just got it today. Fast.

I use @home. Its one of the slowest.
If you want a list comparing all the speeds, Check out the new PC Magazine (February). If you cant find it I could email you the article.

I'm using @home service w/ a Motorola SurfBoard modem. It's one of only a VERY few services even offered in our area. I WOULDN'T use Qwest if he** froze over!!!
