Hi...welcome to v710, blackberry 7250, palm 650, aud vx6600.....bluetooth has been with cdma for a while buddy....

 

looks like shit IMO

 

this is what it looked like when i was playing with it.... i thought it was a dope phone a mix of features from the lg7000,6000 and 8000

 

I’ve been waiting MONTHS for this thing to finally come out. They keep postponing it.
Latest I heard is June 27th.
Anyone know if that’s a valid date?

 

The guys on howard forums keep pulling dates out of there ass...

last time i talked to someone from the data team and they said the bluetooth in the phone was giving them problems...but this was a month or 2 a ago....when i get around to it i'll shoot someone an email and find out the scoop-

 

I'm also waitin for this thing to come out. I was considerin the audiovox 8940 but the reviews say the speakerphone is crap

 

Rebate pads are out....for indirect retailers...so it should be coming very very soon!!

I've been hearing the same thing; June 27th...supposed to unvail both the LG VX8100 and the Motorola E815, I can't decide which one to get....

A cell phone forum...howardforums.com I think. I googled searched 'vx8100 release date' and a bunch of sites came up. I clicked on that forum since it was one of the first links up. Read it up and supposed 'inside information' had the 27th delayed.
They mentioned that same thing about the e815.

 

Dont bank on that date...sometimes howard forums is correct most of the times there not.....

 

Regardless, I'm readin that forum like I'm readin this one. Supposldly, readin some of the post, there are a couple VZW employees that type up each update. but their ID should not be known

so is that the official gay fluff of howardforums? haha


Where did u get the 27th date from? Have u checked back and seen if it's been pushed back?

The July 5th date seems to be more likely though because it’s already Thursday and they’re not in the stores yet to sell on Monday.

The E815 seems more definite for the 5th, but I’d rather have the 8100.
My last three phones have been LG’s and I like them.
Never had a Motorola.

 

Plus they're havin that promotion (2 camera phones deal I think) that ends on july 4th. I would assume after that date, the 5th, that they would release it.
unfortunately I ain't gonna be in the country that week
sux I wanted to use the camera on it to take pix of where I'm goin

 

ive been waiting for lg to come out with a bluetooth phone, i didnt know it was so close to out already!

 

I dont know about a phone till it is in the warehouse, I've played with the 8100 though, and a few other phones that have not been released...also we have rebate pads for it...but that doesnt mean much...

i rather have no date, then a made up one from howard forums..

 

Well in Best Buy when a new phone comes in, the existin phone that it replaces gets thrown off the shelves. This is usually done 2 weeks b4. Word is that's already happened to the v710 at those stores

Again this is just what I'm hearin (seeing)

 

I dont think the v710 is going anywhere real soon, i think they just will drop the price and go a Buy one get one type deal.....just my 2 cents

There’s still a chance it might be July 5th, but late July or early August is looking more and more likely.

I actually stopped checking over at PhoneScoop and the Howard Forums.
99% of the posts over there about this phone are bullshit.
Usually they have great inside info on things like this, but unfortunately there’s a ton of assholes cluttering up the threads with useless posts.

 

Verizon really needs to step their game up when it comes to new phones.

 

Tell me about it! Service is great but phone selection is a little boring

 

thats the worst with cdma. with gsm you can get any european unlocked phone which makes the selection so much bigger. when it comes to the phones in the store that any US company sells though they are right up there.

 

On the phone sites, it looks like a lot of “sources” are saying July 11th as the release day for the LG-VX8100.
I guess I can hold out another week.

 

e815's are in inventory in my store...i really like the phone...but 8100 should be dope...and i had a few people play with the LG phone that is going to compete with the "sidekick" so...not sure which phone to go to...

 

which would you recommend the e815 or the lg8100.....do you hav eany pics with the lg phone that is supposed to compete with the sidekick?
