I built a PC last December and it's awesome. Only problem I have with it is the VGA cooler fan, which is quite noisy. Everything else is very quiet on this PC. Can anyone point out a good and quiet replacement?

The card is a single slot AGP GeForce 6600 GT from XFX. Temps are running around 47 C core, 36 C ambient; which is pretty good, IMO.

man i have a BFG 6800GT OC and this shit is one loud ass mofo. The best solution for the card is a NV Silencer 5. You should see if they have one for your card. There coolers are always recommended on the PC boards so you should have a look see. Ima get one when i have time.

 

I found this NV4 for the 5900 series, but it looks ridiculous. I'll check on the 5.

 

I have an Arctic Cooling fan, and it's wonderful. I usually have it in silent mode, and I can't even tell it's there. It does eat the slot next to your VGA card though.
