Wink Unlocking phones

Hey guys, I recently got a sony ericsson S710a, but it is locked by Cingular. I have tmobile service and want this phone to work. I did some research online and some people said to use a dongle to connect to your computer, but other said unlocking through remote server. I am not sure that is legit, but if someone has done this before, please let me know where to get this phone unlocked. Thanks.

Only phone i've unlocked was a V3. Since I already had MPT and other apps installed for hacking, all I had to do was purchase a tool online, download, and execute. Done and done.

Head over to www.howardforums.com and you should be able to get detailed info on what you'd like to do.

BTW, wrong forum section.

Check AZ's vendors. One vendor I came up with is https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...r+unlock+phone

There is another guy whose vendor name I cannot remember and whose posts in the 3G section did not show up in my searches, but he would unlock the phone if you sent it to him with $45, IIRC. I think the phones were a sideline for him, and not the main part of his biz.

Good luck.

I just had my phone unlocked by a cell phone store. The phone now recognize T-mobile, but it freezes after the first few seconds. Basically, I can't dial or do anything in the keypad. The asshole in the store said they might be something wrong with your keypad, but if I put my old cingular sim card in everything works fine. But only freezes when putting in the Tmobile sim card. Anyone have any ideas?
