Logitech trackball. Only thing I wish it had were Forward and Back buttons above the ball on the side. Been using them for years.

Trackball is nice for certain applications, but overall I prefer the mouse.

I have Both

Logitech G5 mouse
Kensington Expert Mouse (why it is called a mouse I don't know)

I've stopped using a mouse at work and use a Pen Tablet. Best thing I could have ever done.

So much more comfortable.

I haven't used any text converter on it.

I use it for Illustrator, Flash, and most of my other design programs. When I'm using it on those programs it's very fast and responsive.

Here is the tablet I went with:

Trackballs are weird.... I just use a mouse with adjustable sensitivity. Plus I can't stand a mouse without a scroll wheel.

I voted "mouse" and currently only use mice (besides the laptop touch pad), but I've used a trackball before and wouldn't mind trying one out again at some point.

I use a track pad 90% of the time on my personal laptop since i'm too lazy to connect a mouse.

at work I have a mouse, but honestly, using nothing but excel and word, you don't use a mouse too much except to click on junk.

i've never used a trackball much though, i think i could get used to it though. maybe i should try one out.

i voted for mizouse

I had an original trackman about 15 years ago. It was great for playing Doom. It was a bit too small from my hands tough. I haven't used a track ball since.
