which A105 did you get? THere are many types. The cheapest one is 999 dollars. HOw did you get it for 600?

Bottom of the line basic notebook. For 600 bucks, you can surf the web pretty good.

which one of these cheap laptops are the best bang for the buck? Buying one for as a gift for a Frosh in college. I'm sure it will be used for school work, music, games, and web.
