So far there is only one phone that is capable of using verizons evdo network which is the audiovox 6600 pda phone which is bluetooth and evdo.



I have been using the Lg vx8000 now for about a month now and it is a sick phone. We just got the dummy phone in today which means it is going to be coming real soon for consumers. The only thing that sucks about this phone is how big it is. It looks like the 7000 on steroids.




Finally we are getting the Samsung a890. Now this phone looks sick. This should be out in the next couple weeks and maybe even before the 8000. Its quite a bit smaller then the 8000 but still has all the same capabilities including streaming video.




so far these are the only EVDO phones that have or will be launched in the next month but everything from here on out should be EVDO.
