Technology Discussion: Online Storage
I didn't want to take away from fattysyms search for an online storage provider in his thread linked below so I thought I'd start a new one on a related topic.

The last thread I started had to deal with text messaging. This time, let's talk about Online Storage. My question is, if you wanted an online storage company, what are some of the traits you would look for in the company and the services they offer. What would it take for you to feel safe and secure that your files are located on someone else's server which you have absolutely NO control over. How much would you be willing to pay? would you pay a per GB rate, or would you rather pay in a allocated amount of space rate?
Feel free to add more questions to the mix. Let's have another great technology discussion like the last.

No, I didn't
I'm using dropbox, it's not bad. But I only upload stuff I don't care about, like photos, some regular documents...but never anything private. Memory is cheap now anyways, you are better off buying a big HD and placing a ftp server on it to access at any point.

Reading isn't a strong ability of alot of us on here.
But I would look for the amount of storage they offer, compared to price and security.
I would pay a certain amount of money for a set amount of space.
However, I would never upload anything personal/private onto the interwebz.
