Sprint Users! Good, ahhh..., Bad?

About to invest 2 years. What can you sprint Users tell me about Customer Service, Drop Calls & Coverage? By show of thumbs how would you rate your overall satasfication?
And oh yea... Anyone here get a sprint employee discount, whats that worth?
Thanks in advance!
I need to decide real soon who to go with they are about to port my land line over...

Sprint customer service > any company on earth. They are so friendly and can take care of any problem you have. Drop calls are rarely a problem, especially in a larger city. All around i have had sprint for 5 years and i have NEVER had one bad story to tell about them. To me they are the best. Plus i have never seen someone with a $700 phone bill unlike places like verizon or t-mobile or cingular. Unlimited nights and weekends starting at 7, what more can you ask for?

P.S. They also have the BEST phones on the market IMO.

We've all read howardforums; overall the best phone lineup of any carrier is Sprint. But I'm biased because I work there. But I cannot think of another carrier with better phones. Can you?

Pants on Fire

Well twice now I have had my phone activation post-poned. I called 3 companys about transferring my land-line to a cell phone since I was moving...Verizon and T-mobile were up front in telling me that It could take up to 3-4 weeks to activate the phone...Well since this was my home phone I needed it immediatly. So I called Sprint, It seemed like a harmless decision at the time afterall I did have their home service along with DSL through them so I figured what the heck. I called them and told them the situation I was in and they informed me about their rate plans (did not impress me compaired to the other 2 I was looking at ...better coverage and cheeper plans with Verizon. After telling the sales rep about this they told me that eventhough their plans weren't as competative they "could transfer my land line in less than a week because I already had Sprint service." (Where is This Going Everyone?).... How many ways can you guys think of to say Liar! After the porting date arrived I called sprint to Bitch and they told me that the date had been pushed back to the 16th because My home address (service) did not match the Cell Billing address... To witch I replied No-S*** . The whole reason I wanted to Convert is because I was moving and they Knoew the information was Different! Well after a lot of complaining I got them to move the date up to the 14th. Here I am again Phoneless by the Phonies. If I knew that it would take this long, If they hadn't lied to me in the first, If I weren't so trusting... I would have gone elsewhere. To top it off they are making me pay for my Home phone services for the last 3 weeks (since they forced my to keep it active, "so as to do the transfer") that should have only taken "1 week at Most Mr. Brien" B.S. ... Sprint Suck an egg!

Iknow there are horror stories out there, but they happen with everyone.

I have never had a problem with Sprint and Ive used them since 98.

And as with most customer service issues, if its something major I work up the chain, I rarely waste my time with paid pee-ons who dont really know whats going on with their own company, so they make things up on a whim to try and cover their lazy asses. Thats where the problems happen and peoples shit gets fucked.

The only problem I have ever had w/ Sprint is getting to a live person. Going through that automated "Claire" bitch can get a little frustrating. It has gotten a lot better over the past few months.
Overall a pretty good company w/ decent phones.

I would say that one of the three GSM carriers would match or beat sprint.

And what's wrong w/ HowardForums? Maybe he didn't know about it, it's a better place to read up on Sprint than here.

Actually I think "Fuck Sprint" is pretty acurate when it comes to reviews! Dont make me unleash Cookie Monster and his Tech Nine!

T-mobile is the best by far. Best rate plans and service and no drop calls.
