New Phone on T-Mobile

the contract on our family plan has ended and i want to get some new phones. Most places with good deals on phones cannot renew the contract so...should i cancel my plan and start over or just pay the extra amount for the phone?

Yeah, I think everyone should update their phone after the contract is up. T-mobile has great phones at great prices. For example, my mom got the motorola V600 with t-mobile service for free and 100 rebate so she used that money to cover the activation charge and first months bill.

hehe, did you say the Moto V600 or do you mean the Moto V300, the new little tiny Moto camera phone?

Cause if you meant the V600 which does Video and Bluetooth, then I'm going to have to go to T-Mobile and pickup that phone.

I always recommand people to get a new # when contract is up so u can make money on getting a new phone. It obviously depends on ur line of work, if all ur clients only have ur cell #, then u cant change it, but otherwise. I just do a mass email out to all my friends and coworkers, then keep my old # for a few months on the lowest plan with the voicemail saying i got a new # now, etc etc. THis way instead of paying lets say $299 for the E715, I got it for free with 100 cash back. so I am saving a total of 400. And I do that every year. I think the $400 is worth a little hassel.

Well u can port a number now. If the workers there aren't on crack it takes like a day to transfer over.
