Spilling juice on laptop keyboard.....
Somebody spilt a cup of juice ony my friends laptop keyboard here at school. The keyboard still works, but its hard to type because it seems like the keys are sticking under them. Does anybody know of a way to fix this?? Obviously if it was just a regular keyboard for a desktop it wouldnt be a big deal, but its a laptop.
Thanks in advance for any answers,
Christoph

Heres what I can suggest, turn off the laptop and push every single button until it stops sticking...It could be 10 times, it could be a 100 times... It worked for me when I got kiwi juice under the 2 buttons under the touchpad...

To pop them off is a good suggestion. However, be careful not to also pop off the plastic hinge that is underneath that holds the key. I did that to my laptop when I was cleaning out dust underneath and I never got it to go back on. Now, I have two missing keys.

I wouldn't pop the keys off a laptop. There's not much flexible material that will snap back into the board.
Desktop keyboards are much bigger and their keys are much more durable for pop pop popping on and off.

Is there anything in a laptop keyboard that could be harmed by water? I ask because I've seen a few laptop models where the entire keyboard can be easily removed if you're brave enough to take the case apart.
I'm thinking he might be able to disconnect the keyboard and soak the thing in a bucket of water for a while, let dry thoroughly, and reconnect. I used to do this with desktop keyboards and it worked fine.

I know some people that spilled things. Keys never worked again.
I also wouldn't try to pop the keys off. Some laptop's are a bitch to do this & you will break it trying.
Try some compressed air in a can. Maybe turn it upside down to get the freeze going then wipe down with a cloth.
