sell iphone ??

i have had an iphone 8gig for about 6 - 7 months. already on my 2nd one the first one had bluetooth troubles and whatnot. basically im getting the same problems again... on the web and then it just goes back to the homescreen etc. i just found a website that is willing to buy my iphone for around 200. i mail it in, they look over it and send a check. should i do it? i really need a better battery, speakerphone, and whatnot. if i wait till the new update then the price will drop. im falling for the bold. advice?

Dont sell it just yet.

1) depending what sites you are on...sometimes the safari browser will crash.

2) Regards to BT....turn your phone to airport mode. go to general and reset your network. turn wifi back on, turn BT back on.

Something happens where over time is accumulates interference and cleaning out the network/wifi cache makes it work again...had the same issues. fixed them.

For what its worth, try craigslist. Here's my story...I bought an 8GB refurb for my girlfriend via ATT.com's 250.00 sale back in March. The top part of her screen didn't work. We managed to exchange for a new one at an Apple store here in the Chicago area.

Took the new one and decided to sell it. I put it on criagslist last night @ 8:30PM for $350.00 or best offer. Got a call in 10 mins. Guy came to see it at 9:30PM...sold it for $350.00 cash!

I've never seen anything like that before in my life.

Why do I have a day job again? Sorry I got sidetracked but you should try that if you decide to sell your phone. God is good haha

Good luck

Take a look at ebay at least. Everyone doesn't want the 3G phone. Don't just give yours away.

FWIW, I just sold one 8GB iPhone for $525 and have three 16GB units listed for $725 each and it appears that I will at least get $700 each for them.

They are definitely still in demand. More so now because stores don't have them and it will take a while for someone to jailbreak/unlock the 3G version.

Have a good title, decent description and an actual picture and you should be good to go.

I feel you on wanting to get rid of it. Mine wont hold a charge for more then 2 hours, I dont get it and since its unlocked and has a black back on it apple wont exchange it out. On the plus side, like others have said, sell it on ebay. I sold upwards of 40 unlocked phones on there for an average price of $602 when they only cost me 423 after taxes.

^ ^ Of course they're not gonna help u. You opened the phone up to exchange the backplate. You violated the warranty hence the reason they won't swap it out under the warranty exchange program.

Nice iphone hustle you have tho
