I turned on my razr this morning, and the screen was white. Then the oto skin that came with the phone wouldn't stay fixed, but rather would move from left to right? It finally corrected to the normal screen when I hit the red end call button. When I picked up the phone later , it was doing the same thing.

Anyone have this happen to them? Suggestions?

I have Cingular with flex version GSMV3xxCIN01Na04E.

ive heard bad thing about the razor when it comes to problems. it is a motorola you know.

 

AHHH, another Motorola Screen problem, I have seen so many Motorola's with there screens going out and etc, Just get it replaced through Cingular, But BEWARE, they will most probably replace it with a Refurb as that is what T-Mobile does

 

sounds more like a software issue since it works fine after you hit the red button. if you are familiar with flashing/flexing phones, why don't you try that first. you will most likely get a refurb one if you have it replaced unless it's less than 30 days since you purchased it and you go back to where you bought it from.

Could be the flip hinge sensor not correctly sensing that its open or not. Had the same issue with a v600 before replacing it through Cingular insurance.

 

My friend's wife's RAZR had so many problems and this was one of them mentioned. I tried finding the RAZR firmware but to no luck. Ah well. I hate troubleshooting motorola phones...sometimes its a simple fix while others its not.

Yep, just get MPT and a couple other free applications and flash your firmware. I have an unlocked UK version and I've had NO PROBLEMS with my razor....
