problem on calling cingular #'s

I have this older sprint phone and whenever i try to call a cingular number 1/2 the time i get a error voice message saying that the network is not available at the moment and i need to try again later. but if i hang up and call say a landline or some other numbers, it gets connected right away. and i think this only happens when i call cingular numbers.

so my question is that is it caused by the sprint network or is it b/c of my old ass Sanyo SCP-7300?

its not ur phone... its the crappy cingular network. I get the same thing here in the md/dc area. they have too many customers and not enough channels to provide the service.

could be some sort of LRN (local routing number) issue, you would need to contact your Sprint tech support and fix the problem.

actually, the exact message is "we cannot complete your call at this time, please try again later."

it didn't say anything about network not available like i said before.

so what's this LRN issue?

call a customer service rep, ask about the problem, and ask them to talk to a tech about it.
