anyways what was sweet about it was that it was water cooled
i had cooling kit thou, the thermaltake big water. at one point i had blacklights in it because the water glowed when exposed to uv light.

Cool, this is my first build. Way cheaper and twice as powerful as my old vaio.

I ordered all that from newegg. The total was $917 shipped, but there was at least $80-100 in rebates. The case I also got after rebate which was $80 I believe. So the total was around $900.
I built the computer with my Dad, and it was the first one we have put together. Everything worked like a charm once booted up. I recommend the Antec P180 Case to anyone, it is so quiet and so easy to setup with.
The E6600 was $233 from newegg and this was a month ago. I know that Intel is planning on dropping the Quad processors in Q4 I believe, at least that is what I have read.

I just realized I listed the monitors. I already had the monitors so those are not included in the price... Sorry if you thought I got ALL that for $900, but I did get everything minus the monitors for around $900..

TSX like I said before, I highly recommend the P180 case. It is a fairly large case and it goes on sale about once a month, but it is really amazing.
It isn't flashy at all, but it has a very nice clean look to it.

Very nice case indeed. I just painted the inside of mine and cut open a blow hole
plus got some custom black glass added. I am also going to be doing a water cooled
setup so I would like to keep the window. Here is more info on what I did.

1 GB of Corsair DC DRR
Radeon 9200 SE
IDE WD-160GB (Two partitions: 1 operating system/2 my krap)
RAID Maxtor-300GB (One partition: more of my krap)
Broken Ipod (it's just used as a hardrive now)-60GB
-Currently using 259.5gb of 520gb
Memorex 52x CR-RW/DVD Drive
Poloroid 48x CD-RW/DVD Drive
The Sight:
Viewsonic 21" Monitor
Old Sony 36" TV (secondary monitor biznatches
)
Conexant Video Capture Card
-Too cheap to afford DVR (dame time warner... i mean comcast), so I just record it on here
The Sound:
A Random soundblaster card
-so I can connect to my home theatre which has a 700w amp and 5.1

The Wow:
UV Light (not connected)
-My board glows in teh dark.
3 Blue LED Fans (2 arent connected)
She's old but as long as I can play BF2 lag free i'm happy.
