Places to get MP3 fixed

Anybody know where I can get my MP3 player fixed? Called Best Buy, etc..but nothing. Whenever you put the headset in, music comes out one earphone. But if you "wiggle" the input head jack around or hold it in a certain position, you get music in both ears. Any ideas?

...and if it's not your headphones, it's probably not worth getting it fixed...

Nope - The headphones work with my CD player...tried using two other head sets, and exact same thing. Tried taking it apart to see the components, but nothing...thinking about sending it to Dell and see what those idiots say.

I would imagine a small time mom and pop electronics repair shop could handle it. Just sounds like the headphone jack is loose on the circuit board, or just busted.

That sounds like a good idea - hopefully they'll know what to do. Thanks everyone

If you took it apart without knowing what to do exactly, you have already voided the warranty. So if Dell was the merchant you bought it from, I wouldn't bother because they will charge you for shipping back and forth as well as the fixing costs.
