One girl, two Iphoto libraries

Looking for suggestions. One of my clients has an Air and a Imac. I just cleaned up her Iphoto library on the Imac. She wants to use the Air while she travels to import pics and do some tags, etc and then bring them to the Imac. I am thinking just exporting them out, but not sure if thats best.

Could you use carbon copy cloner to merge the two libraries? It's a pretty slick app, which I use to do a backup of changed files to another disk in case I have a failure on my primary backup disks.

^I actually use CCC for our primary backups here at work. Fantastic software.

Iphoto library is a database more or less, dont think syncing software will cut it.

I would encourage you to read the FAQ and how this software works. I have been using it to replicate changes in my iPhoto library to my backup and only updating the incremental changes, without issue.

I can see where you would pause since the library is a bundle of "stuff" (more a less a DB, yes), but have not had any issues thus far. Try yourself and see...
