Does anyone have any information on when Nextel and Sprint customers will be able to use direct connect between each other? Will this require new phones for everyone or are they trying to make sure no one has to upgrade for this to work?

I got a letter from Nextel stating all phones will continue to work on the network, but I'd prefer to be with Sprint again and still have access to Nextel people through direct connect.

I don't know but lately my direct connect has been terrible! I hope it gets better and soon!

 

I don't even use my nextel much, at all. Coverage sucks for me, but Sprint is really good, I'm going to look into it, but this will help determine the change over.
