Need help: Nokia Lumia or HTC Radar or...
OK, quick overview. I am way behind and currently using an old Blackberry for text/talk ($65) and I have a Verizon web access card for my laptop ($50).
I was at TMobile as my old Blackberry died. I am a non techie and too be truthful, I have never even checked or sent email on a cellphone (sigh!).
He is suggesting the 2 above and it is $59/month umlimited talk/text/data. I need access to a software for me to search data but I used this maybe once or twice a day when I am in the field working.
1) I am worried about the phone screen being too small but can live with it.
2) Are ther other phones I can look at that will do the same and not cost me an arm and leg.
** The $60 plan does not include the phone. I have to pay $15 per month for the phone until it is paid off ($350). That said, I can pick up a Lumia off Ebay (new) for $290. Before I plonk down big money, I just want to cover all bases.
Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Both are great phones for the price. The Lumia 710 has a 40% faster processor but a little bit smaller battery. The nokia has turn by turn directions and other nokia only apps while htc has some of their own special software like panoramic photos and other things that nokia might not have and vis versa.
I think you'll be happy with both, I guess it comes down to which extra features you like more. my guess for you would be the Lumia. I think you'd use the turn by turn navigation and not really have a use for the HTC additions. Also the faster processor in the Nokia might make it more future proof IMO.

The HTC Radar and Lumia 710 are both tied for best rated phones on T-Mobile. Also T-Mobile is selling the Lumia 710 online for free so you might want to look into that. That deal ends tomorrow 3/1 so you might want to get on that ASAP!
