Saw this on Fatwallet.com

Office Max online...usb 250gb external drive for $60. Actually seems spectacular to me, but I could be wrong. I have a lot *ahem* stuff on my computer but a limited budget. Thoughts?

I have a dell btw...

Depends just how important the information that your storing is. If its just pr0n, music or something like that I would risk it. But if its important stuff, that isn't securely backed up else where I wouldn't be willing to risk it.

I saw a deal on slickdeals recently for a WD mybook 500g for like ~$115 or something in store somewhere. Check out their forum. They have a great search tool.

Seems like a good deal.

will you be using this as just a drag and store drive or will you be using it to back up your PC? Radioshack has Maxtor externals on clearance right now might want to check into those...unless you need backup software which it sounds like you don't, look into the onetouch drives or freeagent pro drives.
