MSWord .DOT quesiton

I have a document saved as a DOT in a network folder so people can't screw it up. When they open it they are forced to save it as something else, somewhere of their choosing.

In the Save As dialogue box, Word inserts the first few words of the first line of text as the suggested filename. I would like this to be a title of my choosing, but the same every time. IOW, I want it ALWAYS to suggest the title "ABC123.doc". How do I do this?

Go to File--->Properties--->Summary tab.

You can enter a title for the document which will be automatically used as the suggested save as title.

OK, worked if I right clicked on the dot file without the actual file being opened, but then it removed the last letter of my given file name and replaced it with a "1"...

To unlock these feature you must successfully match crackers to cheese in a 1:1 ratio.

Are you naming it the same as the current filename? Just a random thought. No idea.

Crap. Yes. I bet that's it.

Office 2003. I will check it again tomorrow when I am in the office and see if renaming the original to something different works. Thanks!
