quesiton:

can the 02+ speedometer work on a 99? any cluster that doesnt have the italic symbols, is what i want, reason i ask this is cuz i wanna buy the straight lettering cluster, and i got one for 30 bucks cdn, and was wondering if i can jus pop it in and will be compatible wit the 99? i remember someone sayin that it will, just that temp/fuel wont work, anyone confirm this? thanks!

lettering on speedometer? you mean numbers right? there are no letter on a 99 tl speedometer.

 

yea numbers, on the 99s, its italic, on the 00+ they arent, its straight numbers.

 

sounds like not much difference and a lot of work. i wouldn't do it, but if really want to, then go for it!

 

Someone else was going to/or did not that long ago. Not sure of the out come. try a search. i know there was a thread/or it was in a thread having to do with the gauges within the last 2 months or so
